Ruth Werner is a retired massage therapist, writer, and educator with a passionate interest in massage research.  She currently serves as President of the Massage Therapy Foundation and is one of the most well-informed people in the massage field about cutting edge research on massage therapy. 

Her groundbreaking textbook, A Massage Therapist's Guide to Pathology was first published in 1998 with the 5th edition being published in 2012.  Ruth also teaches workshops all over the country.  She's a dynamic teacher and fascinating expert.
