AT1 Sacrotuberous Ligament Myofascial Separation Techniques

• Sacrotuberous Fascial Separation This technique can be performed with a client lying prone, in the child’s pose or a side- lying position. Using the pad of your thumb, or the tips of your fingers, slowly move from just superior to the coccyx along the sacrotuberous ligament to the PSIS. Then reverse the direction. You are working at the lateral border of the sacrum. You may do this technique with your fingertips, thumb or for a broader gentler stroke — with your elbow.
