Instructor: Carole Osborne
During pregnancy, progesterone, estrogen and other prenatal hormones usually guarantee efficient breathing, digestion, and elimination for two (or more!), but not without a price.
Common pregnancy companions in these systems include:
shortness of breath
nausea, gastric reflux
constipation
urinary frequency and incontinence
In this course we will explore these complaints, their implications for safety guidelines, and how to reduce their negative impact by our positioning and technique modifications and emphasis. Helping our clients maximize their breathing capacity as an integral part of stress reduction will be the focus of our technique spotlight.
