Instructor: Ben Benjamin

Assessing and Treating Interosseous Muscle Injuries

Pain in the foot can often be attributed to injury to the dorsal and/or plantar interosseous muscles. When this injury occurs, it is very painful to walk, especially when it occurs simultaneously in both feet.  This injury is often misinterpreted as something more serious.  Interosseous muscle strains are very easy to assess and treat.

In this course, Dr. Ben Benjamin discusses dorsal and plantar interosseous muscle injuries including the relevant anatomy, assessment tests, common causes and which treatment techniques that can reduce, prevent, and eliminate this debilitating condition.
