Some strong cancer treatments can be toxic. Many massage approaches and spa treatments are aimed at detoxifying the tissues of the body. Although it can be tempting use massage to attempt to ?speed up? the movement of toxins out of the body, we explain why this is not a good idea with a client who is undergoing cancer treatment. Instead, we discuss safer alternative approaches to use.
